Portrayed by Tahmoh Penikett, Paul Ballard is an FBI field agent given the impossible dead-end task of solving the Dollhouse case.  While most think that the Dollhouse is a myth, a Bureau ghost story, Ballard believes it’s real.

Despite being ridiculed by other agents and following leads that kill any hopes of a promotion, Ballard is intent on proving there is a Dollhouse.

Armed with a picture of Echo given to him by a rogue Dollhouse agent, Ballard might just have what it takes to bring down the Dollhouse – if he doesn’t fall for the beautiful Echo first.
