A number of reviews are already in about Fox’s new TV show “Dollhouse.” The only thing safe to say now is beauty is in the eye of the beholder because the reviews are mostly a mixed bag. To give you a broad view of the reviews, I have posted a positive review, a review that liked the future episodes and thought the show was intriguing but did not like the pilot as much, and one review that did not like the show at all.

Fox just sent out some brand new pictures of Joss Whedon on the set of Dollhouse.  Ironically, they misspelled Joss’ name in each one of the pictures, referring to him as “Joss Wheadon.”

Whedon has always written about feminism, but as he’s progressed through Angel, Firefly, and Dollhouse, another theme has emerged: the question of how to live within a system that co-opts any attempt at rebellion.

Joss Whedon held a conference call with reporters Friday to talk about “Dollhouse.” Joss talks about the making of the show, why Eliza Dushku was the perfect fit for Echo, the things out there that inspire him, and if Fox has gone too far in its sex-appeal marketing. (Judging by the photo at the left, may we just add… wow.)
