Portrayed by Fran Kranz, Topher Brink is a wise-cracking whiz kid whose scientific brilliance keeps the Dollhouse running.  His thirst for technology helps him bypass moral road blocks other scientists might have a hard time ignoring.  Not only does Topher design the technology used in the Dollhouse, he also is the one who uses it on the Actives.

Due to his awareness of his own flaws – as well as the flaws of those he works with – Topher is the perfect person to assemble the million different personality profiles Actives need to successfully complete their operations.
